Sentinel Computers Server Status
Production Server: Normal Operation
If your Sentinel Computers is reporting problems relating to access to our servers and yet the status report above is “Normal Operation”, please follow the troubleshooting procedure below:
Troubleshooting:
a. Reset your router (or power it off then on again) wait 5 minutes and try again then reset the Sentinel (Press "r”) at the Network Error Screen and the Sentinel will reset.
b. If it still fails, attempt to reach the Sentinel Web Portal (https://sentinelgamingsystems.net) using a smart phone with WIFI turned OFF but set to allow cellular data (data rates may apply) . This checks an alternate internet route to the servers through your cellular service.
c. If you CAN reach the site, this suggests that either your router is blocking access or your internet service provider is unable to connect to our servers due to their failure. Check again using the Sentinel system and if still a problem contact your Internet Service Provide for technical help. If the problem is not caused by your ISP it may be a router configuration that is set to block access. you may need to perform a factory reset (not just reset) on your router and restore the router’s configuration for the proper WIFI SSID and passwords.
d. If you CANNOT reach the site from your phone using mobile data, then the Sentinel servers may be down and the status above has not yet reported the downtime. This can also be a regional problem and not nationwide. If this happens, please wait and try again in 10 minutes to confirm this was not a temporary service outage.
