PlayStation Remote Setup


In order to pair this Sentinel system to a Sony PlayStation 4 or 5 console on the same network, follow these steps. When you are ready to start, click on the Start button below. Be prepared to write down the 8 digit pairing pin code from the PlayStation during setup. Press and hold front panel Power Button (1/2 to 1 second) to cancel setup at any time.

Step 1: Click on Start button below
The following login screen should be displayed

Step 4 - Pair Sentinel to PlayStation on Chiaki

Click on the button next to Audio Out and select the appropriate audio output:
Audio Jack: BUILT-IN AUDIO ANALOG STEREO (or similar)
HDMI 1 Audio: VC4-HDMI-0 (or similar)
USB HD Audio Adapter: USB PNP Sound Device (or similar) Note: Do not change any other settings
Press the front panel Reset Button to exit.

Step 2: Sign in to PlayStation
Enter Login ID and Password. The following web page should appear.

Press the Front Panel Reset Button to continue
The Chiaki App will automatically load and will fill in the Account ID field.

Step 5 - Select Audio out on Chiaki App

Step 3: Setup the Sony PlayStation console to enable PS Remote Play and to get Pin Code to Pair
Power and login to the PlayStation console and enable registration as described below:
PS4 - From the function screen, go to Settings > Remote Play Connection Settings, and then turn on Enable Remote Play. From the function screen, go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4, and then select Activate. You can enable this setting on only one PS4 console for each account.

PS5 - From the home screen, select Settings > System > Remote Play-> Enable Remote Play.

PS4/5 - An 8 digit pin code will be displayed on the screen. Write this down as it will be needed in pairing. You have about 5 minutes to pair the PS4 or PS5 to the Sentinel. Return back to the Sentinel.

The Registration popup screen will have the Account ID field entered automatically and the cursor will be at the Pin field.
Press the Front Panel Reset Button.

Enter the 8 Digit Pin Code provided by the PlayStation. If you are unable to enter the PIn, click the mouse on the empty Pin field and try again. Click Register. PlayStation image should appear.
